a lotta things happened in the past 2 months….The tour is over and I´m already working on new shows, festivals, etc.. I would like to thank all people, who made this tour possible. Thank you guys! I had a blast!

The temporary singerjob for POWERWORLD in the beginning of 2011 has changed into something real. Ilker Ersin and me tried to kill two birds with one stone. I´m now the new PW-singer and he is my new bassman in the MB-band.

Chris “Hexe” Ivo, Barish Kepic and me (the makers and songwiters of THE REAL JH) decided to write another album together. Direction will be like “JH-4 and JH-Trust”. No schedule set yet.

After 20 years , JR BLACKMORE an me will work together again. For now I´ll start by singing one song on his forthcoming solo-album, just like JL Turner, G. Bonnet and others.

In due course we´ll talk about some live-activities.

ALYSON AVENUE – CHANGES has just seen the light of the world. Arabella Vitanc and me sang a duet on „Will I make love”.

VICTORY – DON´T TALK SCIENCE was also just released. I sang the complete choirsection.

POWERWORLD - TOUR

The 2 weeks just flew by. Going on tour, without knowing the guys (except for Barish....but after the glorious JH-split 7 years ago.....but that´s water under the bridge), was kinda adventurous. Plus the fact, that I only had 3 days to learn all songs......But, what can I say. Barish and Ilker are now also playing in my band. I guess that something great came out of this for the future...Life is full of surprises. :-)

But more important is, that the POWERWORLD-TOUR was really fu....great. We rocked only crowded houses, night by night. All people involved, Axel´s band, crew, were so nice and helpfull all the time. And we, the PW-band had a blast together, even though we´re freezing our asses of here and there, hahahaha. It was nice, getting lost in Prague.....Try to find english, or german speaking people there, hahaha........ADVENTUROUS..........

I must admit, that I wasn´t that nervous in ten years, even though I´m playing a lot. But there´s only one thing to say. It´s only Rock´n´Roll AND I LOVE IT................

R. I. P. Tribute to RONNY JAMES DIO – GIG

I am very proud to be part of the german allstar-band on the 12 th of July 2010.

Unfortunately there won´t be any live-activities in the near future. My live-band is incomplete. Olli Müller has turned his back on the music-industry and Andreas Rippelmeier is taking an artistic timeout. Plus, my production-schedule is way too tight and so I just don´t have the time to rehearse. It really takes time to become “one” as a band. I´m not willing to do things (whatsoever) halfhearted.

THE 4th MICHAEL BORMANN-SOLOALBUM – “DIFFERENT”

I´m almost done with all recordings and I am very happy about it. It really took me a while (on and off within the last 10months….) to accomplish the album, because I didn´t really know, what I wanted in the very beginning. So I started to tape around 30 songs. But I got a picture now and I am getting closer. 12-14songs will be on “DIFFERENT” (still working title ). Release is planned for June.

The new, still untitled “REDRUM-album” will finally be mixed in May. The release is not planned yet. We´ll be performing on a big greek festival in July. Details will follow.

I will also collaborate with a german Band called “ASSIGNEMENT”. Robin Beck, Mats Leven and Carsten Kaiser will be the other singers on their concept-album.

“SHINING LINE” is another project, that features some of the greatest melodicrock-singers. I feel honoured to be a part of it. Release is planned for May. Here´s a little press statement:

SHINING LINE is another great AOR project, lead by Pierpaolo "Zorro11" and
Amos Monti. The album was produced by Alessandro Del Vecchio (Edge Of
Forever, Glenn Hughes, Axe), mixed & mastered by Michael Voss (Voices Of
Rock) and features lead vocals from Robin Beck, Harry Hess (Harem Scarem),
Erik Martensson (W.E.T., Eclipse), Bob Harris (Axe), Robbie & Brian LaBlanc
(Blanc Faces), Michael Voss (Mad Max, Casanova), Michael Bormann, Mikael
Erlandsson (Last Autumn's Dream), Michael Shotton (Von Groove) and many
more.

After all this I don´t wanna forget to mention, that I plan another release ( releasedate is planned for late 2010, or early 2011) with my buddies from “HEAVENWARD” ( as I played my tour with 3/5 of the band ). The basics are already done. As soon as I´ll find the time, I´ll be running over the songs ;-)

The upcoming CD of “SAHARA RAIN”, that I´ve produced (or better still produce, since the beginning of January) will finally be mixed within the next 2 weeks.

Hello friends!

After the show in Nürnberg last Friday, I was so much in pain, that I went to the hospital on Saturday morning, after the boys convinced me to have a check up….Well, they´ve found out, that I have a broken rip. Unfortunately it broke so “bad”, that it could cut my lung. To avoid injuries caused by moving, I´ve been told to stay calm and rest. It is just too dangerous! Don´t need to mention the pain and breathing problems….In about 4 weeks I´ll be fit again!

I feel so sorry about this. I was looking so much forward to all this!!!

The shows in Munich and Ludwigsburg are postponed to the 25 th /26 th of April. Hamburg and Bochum will follow asap. It´s only Rock & Roll

I am very sorry, that it took such a long time to finaly update my page. All these forthcoming news are already up on so many other webpages since days ;-).

Anyway, long story short. Here are some details to

"CAPTURE THE MOMENT"

MICHAEL BORMANN – CAPTURE THE MOMENT

“Capture the Moment” is the successor to Michael Bormann´s (Jaded Heart, Bloodbound, Rain, Redrum, Charade, Zeno) and the highly acclaimed Conspiracy solo output that landed this outstanding artist on the official 50th Grammy Awards entry list during the Fall of 2007 “sixteen times” in both the Rock/Pop categories. There were well over 17,000 music entry submissions for the strict Grammy screening process. Still alive! I was way too busy to update my page in the last time. Sorry for that. Anyway. Here are the news:

Both recordings are finished: CRYSTAL BALL & SAHARA RAIN from Switzerland. I did a lotta co-writing for both productions. At the moment I am editing and mixing Sahara Rain.

REDRUM:

On Friday, 29th of June 2007 we´re gonna rock the „ROCKWAVE-FESTIVAL“.

The releasedate is set for 24th of August. Finally J !!

In August I´m gonna produce the 1st solo-album of TEMPESTA-frontman Reto Thalmann . We´re gonna write all the songs during our deserved summer vacation in Greece.. Sometime we will head to Nashville, to hire a few guitarists to play on the material. Why Nashville ??

Because it will be a country-pop album!

It´s not always Rock´n´Roll ;-)

„TROPHY “ is the name of the new baby of „ HUMAN FORTRESS“Axeman Thorsten Wolf , where I will sing on. The whole thing should be done by the end of Oktober.

Right after that I will record the successor of CONSPIRACY. Release is planned for January/February 2008.

As my first soloalbum is out of stock, I´ll be recording 5 new songs very soon. The re-release will contain 16 songs . Release is planned for March/April 2007.

News according the REDRUM-release. It will see the light of the world in Mai 2007. We just rocked Thessaloniki together with KROKUS.

STEEL DAWN´s successor "Rexcuse" will be out also in Mai 2007.

I will be flying to Sweden next Saturday. There will be another new record coming out soon with me singing on ;-). More details later.

On the 13th of April "CRYSTAL BALL" will find their way to the RMB Studios, to produce their forthcoming album. Mark´s solo-output (by the way) will be released very soon. I´ve just seen the video to the hitsingle "SINGING FOR YOU". Absolutely fantastic :-)

Right after "C.B." another swiss band, named "SAHARA RAIN" will come to Duisburg, to produce their record.

Hello everybody,

I have bad news according my solorecord. Because of my broken System (started during the session)I can´t use the mixes. I just listened to the songs again and again, but there´s too many mistakes on it. I am pretty down at the moment as my plane leaves in 5 hours and "nothing is finished". Well it is, but.....

I don´t know, when I will finish everything, cause I have to re-record a third of the album. That sucks big time. The album is too important for me, to just leave it the way it is. So, keep on rocking.....

The recordings to my forthcoming record are finished. The title will be "MICHAEL BORMANN" "conspiracy". I am in the mixing-mode at the moment. The releasedate will be the 11th of August. TWIGHLIHT will be the distributer for Germany, Austria and Switzerland. NL DISTRIBUTION will cover the rest of Europe. RAIN: Finally there´s some news about the releasedate. The album is signed by JVC/VICTOR in Japan and planned to be released in July/August. The european release (MTM) is planned for September.

Michael Bormann solo: The recordings are almost finished. The mixes will start by the middle of next week. The european release is planned for the first week in August.

REDRUM: I will be flying to Thessaloniki by the middle of Mai, to mix the CD with the guys together. As I heared, they´ve already signed a deal with a greek company.

So, finally my new page is done! Well, it was about time.... There´s a whole lotta new pics. The one or the other thing will be updated soon.

Mark Sweeney: The production to his forthcoming 1st solo-album will be finished tomorrow. We´ve wrote, recorded, produced and mixed 13 songs in the past 2 month. A MUST for all mainstream-fans.

Michael Bormann Project: The recordings to my next record will take place in the RMB-Studios and will definately start on the 17th of March. My body and favorite keyboarder "Chris Ivo" (Ex-Jaded Heart, The Sygnet, Doro) will join me thru this journey ;-)... Other international known guest-musicians will be mentioned later.

Unfortunately we are still waiting for a releasedate for the forthcoming Rain-album "Stronger". The album was finished 6 month ago and the deals were signed 4 month ago. THAT´S ROCK´N´ROLL...........

Mark Sweeney has started his vocalsession to his forthcoming album. 10 of 13 song are done. The recordings will definitly be finished by the end of this month. So we can expect the mix by the middle of  February.

MARK SWEENEY (CRYSTAL BALL) GOES SOLO.

Just to avoid misunderstandings......  CRYSTAL BALL will still go on!                                                                                  Mark visited me in the RMB-Studios, to start writing songs for his first solo-album. 10 songs are "done". Stylistic it will be completely different to "CRYSTAL BALL". That´s why solo ;-).......  The production is expected to be finished around January/beginning of February ´06.

STEEL DAWN: The mixes will be finished by the end of this week (planned was one month ago...). Right after the labels will be contacted.

I will leave to Athens on the 27th, to kick some major ass with REDRUM on the FIREFEST.....

Back in Germany. It was again a great season and I had a lotta fun. I´ll be flying for a fotoshoot with RAIN to Oslo next week. Thers´s news about the german rockers STEEL DAWN, www.steeldawn.de. After 11 years there´ll b a new cd. This time they´ve produced by themselves . For the final adjustments and mix they will come to the RMB-studios. Watch out!!

Just been to Germany for two gigs with my coverband IDEA, www.idea-krefeld.de. I´m on Rhodes again since about 3 month. In the meantime I completed some recordings. RAIN, www.rain-web.de, the greek rockers REDRUM, www.redrum.gr, and the forthcoming ZENO ROTH-album, www.zenoroth.com. On this one I just have to sing 2 more songs. This will happen in Oktober then.. My next solo-album I´ll probably start by January, as I´m busy producing. But I´m not in a hurry....

Sooo, I´m back home. It´s been 2 stressfull weeks. First Thessaloniki, 1 day home and further to Oslo. I had a great birthday on the boat ;-)... B.t.w., Thessaloniki really rocks. I was very impressed. If you rockers wanna go somewhere, where you can find all those 80´s rock-clubs, goooo. You´ll love it. Some pics from both events will be online within the next days.....

There will be a show in the CROSSRAD CLUB, close to Zürich, on the 21st of May ( www.crossroad-club.ch ). Michael Bormann & Friends. Songwise there´s gonna be some surprises. The material contains songs of the different projects, Michael was involved with.On board so far are TORE MOREN - guitar (Rain, Jorn Lande), ANDRE HILGERS - drums.The rest is not confirmed yet. 

The production to the new RAIN-album is finished. The roughmixes will leave the house this week.

The recordings to the new RAIN-album are almost finished. In the past 2 weeks we´ve written 12 songs, that we produced the same time. Stylewise it´ll be harder then the previous album. There´s gonna be some rock´n´roll..... next week the roughmixes will be send out to the labels.
